The Camp and Conference Committee recommends contacting the pastor of your local congregation about any scholarship assistance your church may have.

Before filling out the scholarship application, please read the following information carefully, paying close attention to deadlines.

Criteria for Scholarship Assistance

• Applicants for scholarships must have demonstrated involvement in the local church
• A pastoral letter must accompany the application.  The letter must include the following information that will remain confidential.
• Confirmation of the applicants financial need (source of income)
• Parental situation (single parent, number of dependents, etc.)
• State whether your congregation gives scholarship assistance.  If yes, please state how much.
• Applicants must provide an additional letter of recommendation including the above information.  This letter may come from a youth sponsor, Sunday School teacher, etc.

• Scholarship applications and acceptance process must be completed prior to sending camp registration forms.
• Applications must be postmarked on or before May 26 .  No late applications will be considered.

• All applicants will be notified concerning the Scholarship Committee’s decision by May 12
• Applicants accepted for assistance will receive a postcard in the mail that states your application has been accepted and the $ amount of assistance. To complete the process you must return the postcard to Loch Leven to confirm your acceptance of the scholarship.
